JOB DESCRIPTION
- Use forklift to unload and load trucks, stack inventory in a safe manner.
- Assisting installers with loading of materials for installations.
- Inspection of forklift (daily) and report any potential hazards or concerns.
- Bailing of carpet padding
- Inventory counts
- Receive and tag carpets
- Process return items
- Indoor/outdoor branch maintenance as needed
- Assist in the office supporting General Manager as needed with the following:
- Call customers with installer ETA and scheduling changes.
- Conduct Post-Installations Customer Surveys
- Act with confidence by answering or finding the answers to customer questions and finding solutions to customer issues.
- Communicating with Technicians in the field
- Data Entry of job summaries, purchase order information and tracking of delayed purchase orders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of warehouse experience required.
1+ years of Inventory a strong plus.
Strong phone presence required.
Previous Customer Service experience a strong plus.
Previous forklift experience required, forklift certification a strong plus.
Strong computer skills required.
Previous flooring experience will be a strong plus.
Be capable of repeatedly lifting and moving products with weights up to 50 lbs.
