Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Stony Brook Area
Pay Rate: $18.37 – $22.87 per hour
Schedule:
Training: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Post-Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Saturday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
One fixed day off during the week
We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. This role requires the ability to handle a high volume of calls, provide exceptional customer support, and perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, have experience with scheduling, some insurance knowledge, and excellent multitasking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
Schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently
Provide accurate information and resolve customer inquiries
Navigate insurance-related processes and verify basic information as needed
Maintain detailed and accurate records of interactions
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a high call volume environment
Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of insurance processes is a plus
Experience with scheduling software/systems
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently under pressure
Dependable with a positive, team-oriented attitude
