We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Auto Body Collision Parts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of parts ordering, pre-ordering, and handling returns/credits for our busy collision repair shop. This role requires extensive knowledge of vehicle makes and models, as well as the ability to secure the best prices in a competitive market.
Key responsibilities:
-Order parts for new collision repair jobs in a timely and efficient manner.
-Manage all pre-ordering to ensure parts are available before repairs begin.
-Research and negotiate with vendors to secure the best pricing and availability.
-Able to recognize repair vs replace.
-Maintain accurate records of all parts orders, inventory, and returns.
-Work closely with technicians and estimators to ensure proper parts are ordered.
-Ensure the shop runs smoothly by keeping parts organized and ready available.
Qualifications:
-Extensive knowledge of all makes and models of vehicles.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Experience in auto body collision repair parts management.
-Ability to negotiate pricing and build relationships with suppliers.
-Proficiency in inventory management and order tracking systems,
-Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation:
-Pay will be based on experience.
