SUMMARYCandidates will be working on a community generation project. Candidates will be working with the racking crew and will be assisting the pile driving team. The will be installing a ground mounted A-frame racking system. This is a smaller project and the crew will be between 2 and 8 people depending on the team they are working on. Candidates will be lifting and hold racking in place using a string line to ensure that the racking is lines up with the other frames. Candidates do not need direct solar racking experience. They need to be able to take direction, hold and lift racking and be able to communicate with the work site foreman.TYPICAL DAYCandidates will report to work at 6:45 am to start at 7:00 am. They will sign in at the work site trailer. After check in candidates will participate in a safety talk and then daily task's will be assigned. Overtime is common and candidates should be open to working 10 hour days. Candidates will be trained on site. The process is very repetitive and candidate attendance is very important.JOB DESRPITIONCandidates will be the support labor support crew for the racking crew. They will work along side of the crew and independently to complete the set up of the racking.RESPONSIBILITIES Follow instructions from supervisors. Perform general labor tasks such as lifting, assembling and carrying materials. Operate hand and power tools safely and correctly. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Assist in the setup of ladders, and other structures.
