Req Number 143948Job DescriptionEvaluate competency and qualifications for conditional offers and determine hiring decisions or adverse actions to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant pre-boarding of new hires, rehires and internal transfers.Job Responsibility"1.Review to ensure new candidate's qualifications meet or exceed job requirements. 2.Evaluates background information to determine and administer adverse action to candidates, including rescinding offers of employment, based on interpretation of employment laws and governing health care regulations, when appropriate. 3.Advise and educate leaders regarding HR policies, procedures, and relevant employment laws as it relates to ensuring compliance of conditional offers of employment. 4.Identify potential bottlenecks or challenges in the onboarding process and make decisions guided by precedent, previous experience and know professional guidelines and compliance requirements to address them promptly, facilitating a smoother transition for new employees. 5.Regularly exercises independent judgement to deviate from standard procedure to ensure expediency in compliance review while ensuring full compliance prior to start date. 6.Manages oversight and documentation of all pre-hire activities including fingerprinting, I-9 verification, credentialing, EHS testing and other related new hire paperwork. 7.Acts as point person with minimal direction for all new hires; ensures new hires are informed of all processes, requirements and expectations; responds to new hire questions regarding on-boarding and early employment issues. 8.Delivers regional and/or portfolio specific customized, creative tactical on-boarding strategies to serve as an ambassador and immerse new team members in our culture, commitments, and values. 9.Manages all timelines within the on-boarding process to meet the new hire's designated start date and ensure operational staffing needs are met. 10.Manages new hire on-boarding guidelines with the department manager to ensure smooth department level orientation of new hires, including computer set-up, training, building orientation, certification timelines, etc. 11.Leverages in-house human capital management system (HCM) and all available talent tools to monitor, manage, and on-board qualified candidates. 12.Work closely with various departments and stakeholders, such as HR teams, hiring managers, and department heads, to align onboarding decisions with organizational goals and objectives. 13.Analyzes and leverages reporting metrics to make data driven improvements to processes and meet customer focused goals. 14.Stays informed of trends, innovative on-boarding techniques, and industry best practices. 15.Manages new hire on-boarding guidelines with the department manager to ensure smooth department level orientation of new hires, including computer set-up, training, building orientation, certification timelines, etc. 16.Perform other related duties, as required.
