Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Lake Katrine, New York. The job function is in the industry and involves providing efficient and detail-oriented service to customers through call intake and handling basic billing and collections inquiries. The work will be conducted in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring a high level of organization and attention to detail.Responsibilities: Efficiently manage customer inquiries and provide prompt responses. Handle basic billing questions and system updates such as changes in address and emails. Log customer data in SAP and other proprietary platforms. Transfer more complicated requests or those that involve handling payments to other team members. Utilize multiple systems across two monitors, including note-taking while on the phone system. Maintain a detail-oriented approach, especially during challenging conversations. Continuously update and maintain accurate customer records. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Attend provided training on systems, customer responses, and hand-off procedures. Requirements Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a call center environment. Proficiency in answering inbound calls and efficiently addressing customer needs. Exceptional skills in call center customer service, with a focus on delivering a high level of customer satisfaction. Experience in utilizing various data entry systems, ensuring accurate and timely input of customer information. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively handle customer inquiries and complaints. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively, handling multiple calls and tasks simultaneously. Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and problem-solving. Proficiency in using computer systems, databases, and software. High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment. Open to flexible work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
