Material Planner

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInput and maintain material delivery schedulesReview SCM schedules with suppliersUpdate supplier comments as neededVerify delivery schedules meet MPSSuggest MPS revisions if materials cannot meet MSP demandCommunicate shortages and anticipated problems with production plannersAccurately and timely enter daily receipts of goods and services in databaseExpedite deliver of goods and services as neededParticipate in all meetings are requiredAssist with physical inventoryConduct on-site vendor visitsAssist with quality corrective actions and supplier related issuesLiaison between suppliers, purchasing, finance, production, and qualityManage and report metricsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.Consistently, regularly, and predictably at work and on timeOther duties may be assigned as needed
