Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities Maintain constant visibility, vigilant awareness, and alertness throughout the shift. Must communicate clear instructions at the TSA access point and post TSA entry point. Must be able to screen passengers and their belongings and resolve all alarms before authorizing access. Must be able to report any leftover items to Management and TSA. Report any criminal or suspicious activities related to the Company's property, personnel, or operations. Inform the management team of any emergency or security incident to take the necessary measures to resolve the situation. Take charge of emergencies and report them accurately to Management and TSA Comply with all TSA and Port Authority Policies and Procedures. Basic Qualifications Pre-requisites:Must be a local (in-state) resident.Valid US/State IDSuccessfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.You must be at least 18 years old.Must have authorization to work in the United States.Must complete SIDA and Security Guard training as needed to obtain PANYNJ.Experience: Being open and willing to collaborate with a detail-oriented team is necessary.Airport security or employee screening experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent customer service skills. Communication is a must.A strong work ethic is a must.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Organizational and time management skills.Maintaining strict confidentiality is essential. N.B.: Must be fluent in speaking and writing English.
