Looking for a mechanic/technician. Practical skills include being proficient in the repair and maintenance of brake, suspension, electrical/charging, driveline, steering, HVAC and engine mechanical systems including cooling, fuel/exhaust and drivability issues. Must have an aptitude for OBDII and electrical diagnosis. Must be willing to continue education and learning.
Must have a professional attitude, take pride and be thorough in their work, be a good co-worker to others, have a good work ethic, be able and willing to take direction and provide help. Has to be able to learn new skills and be able to communicate well.
Required automotive work experience: 4 plus years (including technical school)
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Preferred: New York State Inspector’s license
Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, guaranteed 40 hours
