STSC provides quality services, products, and expert advice based upon our 30+ years of experience. This includes consignment programs, buying and trading, grading, authentication, and more.
Position Description: Senior Retail Associate
Must love sports! This role is to be a member of our retail team as we open a brand new location in Ithaca, NY. You will support all aspects of store operations including customer-facing and backroom activities. We are looking for a vibrant personality who enjoys speaking with customers.
This is a full-time opportunity (40 total hours/week) requiring a mix of weekday and weekend shifts.

The successful employee in this role will be a candidate for assistant manager and other senior roles as the business succeeds in its new location and grows over time.
Qualifications
Prior experience working in a retail environment
Excellent customer service skills
Highly organized and capable of owning in-store processes to a high degree of accuracy
Comfortable handling frequent changes in direction and one-off needs as they arise
Self-starter: proactively identifies things that need to be done and does them well
Must be available for weekend and weekday shifts
Extra Great: Familiarity with major professional sports and athletes
Responsibilities
Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers and maintaining a clean and organized store environment
Become familiar with store’s products to provide basic guidance to customers
Adhere to all operational, loss prevention, and merchandising standards
Accurately use Point of Sale system to complete customer transactions
Restock shelves accurately and neatly throughout the day
Unpack new inventory received and accurately place it throughout inventory storage areas
Support the shipping function by packing boxes, applying shipping labels, and other tasks as directed by supervisors
Basic cleaning and upkeep of storefront as needed to maintain a high quality environment for customers
Store recovery after business hours to prepare for next day’s opening
