We are looking for seasonal help over the summer months in the Ithaca area! Typically we have a good blend of high school students, college kids on summer break, and other folks who work for us over the summer, keeping busy and getting paid. Work includes, but is not limited to, yard work, mowing lawns, cleaning up yards, planting plants, mulching, cleaning up debris from both the inside and outside of buildings, moving furniture, setting up apartments, general cleaning, painting both interior and exterior, and just all around basic help. Also room available for those that are skilled, but it is not a requirement. The main requirements are that you like to keep busy, like to work with other individuals to complete tasks in a workpersonlike manner, that you are punctual and show up consistently to work, and that you like to take your personal safety, and that of the others around you seriously! Typically our workers will pair up and tackle jobs together or as part of a crew. Also, not required but there is the possibility of full time year round work for the right individuals. Many of our seasonal folks return season after season, and it's not a requirement, but if you think you maybe available seasonally for a few years definitely let us know! This is also a good fill in job for those that are graduating, but need something in the meantime as they wait on the right position to open up in their field of study.
Please reply with what dates you would be able to start, any work history, field of study if applicable and any work skills if applicable, and what dates you would be looking to wrap up the work for the summer, if applicable in your situation.
Fyi, craigslist does not have "seasonal" employment type selection, so we put down full-time as we would prefer someone who is available for the most part M-F on a full-time basis, but only need work for the summer.
