Busy pediatric and adult ophthalmologist office in Ithaca, NY is looking for a skilled technician to join our team! Experience highly preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
-checking eye pressures
-refracting
-performing visual field tests
-performing OCT tests
-assisting doctor with in-office surgical procedures
-teaching patients how to insert and remove contact lenses
We are seeking a responsible and reliable individual to join our team, full-time. We are looking for someone who has a drive to be successful and has a willingness to learn. The hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 4:00 pm, and the major holidays off with pay (Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.).
