We are looking for individual(s) interested in working with a team of dedicated health care professionals to help care for a 62 year old man who is trying to live independently in his own home in Lansing, NY. He needs someone who can assist with general hygiene, provide medication reminders, prepare light meals and do a bit of light housekeeping. If you are looking for a low stress job and want to make a difference in someone’s life, this job is for you. Training will be provided.
We are specifically looking for someone to cover the Sunday shift (9am-1pm and 4:00-7:00 pm), and some evening shifts 4:00-7:00 pm (days negotiable) Occasional dayshifts available. Salary is paid through the NYS Consumer Directed Personal Assistant Program ($17.55 hour/ paid bi-weekly). A physical and agency training is required.
