Major Gift Associate, College of BusinessAPPLY , a nationally ranked Ivy League institution, is looking for Major Gift Associate to join the College of Business team in in Ithaca, NY.Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Development, the Major Gift Associate willwork behind the scenes to provide strategic support to one or more Major Gift Officer(s). The ideal candidate would have strong project management skills, a keen eye for detail to ensure data integrity, and be a strong persuasive writer with the ability to synthesize information. Examples of this work include drafting correspondence for leadership, writing fundraising proposals, research, and administrative tasks such as data entry and pulling lists. This position will work both independently and collaboratively with gift officers, program assistants and others in the Alumni Affairs and Development.The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business is comprised of three schools: The Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration (Nolan), the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management (Dyson), and the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management (Johnson). This role will draft correspondence for use by the President, Provost, Deans, Senior Administrators, and Trustees for a variety of purposes.
