We are looking for a nurturing, reliable, and engaging nanny & homeschool assistant to support our family and assist with the education and care of our two children (ages 4 & 7). This role is ideal for someone passionate about education, child development, and interactive learning, who can create a structured yet fun and flexible learning environment.

This position includes an option for domestic and international travel, making it an exciting opportunity for someone open to new experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with homeschool lessons (curriculum provided)

Plan and lead creative, engaging activities (arts, science, outdoor exploration, etc.)

Ensure at least 30 minutes of outdoor play daily, weather permitting

Encourage a screen-free, hands-on learning environment

Support early literacy and math using Kate Snow’s math curriculum & Hooked on Phonics

Foster critical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving through learning experiences

Help maintain a structured daily routine while allowing room for exploration

Light child-related tasks, such as organizing learning materials and tidying play areas

Prepare simple meals/snacks and reinforce healthy eating habits

Support social-emotional development and provide gentle, positive discipline

Optional: Accompany the family on domestic and international trips to assist with childcare and learning experiences

Qualifications & Ideal Candidate:

Experience with childcare, tutoring, teaching, or homeschooling preferred

Patient, creative, and highly organized, with a passion for working with children

Ability to adapt lessons and activities to different learning levels and interests

Excellent communication and collaborative approach with parents

Comfortable handling occasional outings (e.g., museums, nature centers, libraries)

CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

Valid passport (or willingness to obtain) if interested in travel opportunities
