Urge accountability and the meeting of deliverables
Support the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting
Name and create process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency
Make relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like actual spend against budgets/outlook, the monthly flash report, and key financial metrics
Scan and conceive Ad Hoc financial reports
Provide regular account reconciliation to completion
Backfill for Controller if necessary
Promote to ensure a competent, trained staff through regular assessment, development, and goal setting
Other distinguished duties when required
Direct the accounting team during the closing process to secure deadlines are met
Endorse implementation and confirm adherence to accounting policies and procedures
Arrange numerous policies, procedures, and technical accounting analyses
Seasoned preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits Requirements - 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience
Profound knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
Proven knowledge of billing
Practical knowledge of Accounting management
Skills in accruals
Well-founded grasp of Accounting Entries
Account Balance experience required
Proficiency in Bank Account Reconciliation
Practical knowledge of Billing Functions
Account Discrepancies experience preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of account analysis
Well-founded grasp of Bill Payment
General familiarity with Accounting Guidance
Deep understanding of Account Coding
Wide ranging experience with Accounting Principles
Quality experience with Accounting operations
Experience with Ad Hoc Reporting
Earlier work involving Accounts Payable (AP)
Knowledge of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Foundational knowledge in Bank Balances
Previous experience working with Accrual Accounting
Prior experience with AIA Documents
Good understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Account Resolution experience highly desired
General familiarity with Billing Collection
Hands-on experience with AIA Billing
Solid understanding of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
Proven knowledge of Accounting close process
Solid understanding of Annual Close Processes
Comprehension of Ad Hoc Analysis
Experience with bank reconciliations
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
Previous accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
CPA certification desired
Understanding GAAP and firm accounting policies and procedure
