Description ONSITE IN HUNTINGTON STATION, NYOur client, a solo practitioner who specializes in personal injury matters and real estate, is seeking a Legal Assistant on a 2+ month, contract basis (approximately 30 hours a week). Job duties include answering phones, taking messages, greeting clients, inputting edits, managing the attorney's calendar, tracking due dates, obtaining medical records, reminding clients to attend scheduled appointments, and other clerical duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of law firm experience, be proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, be highly organized, and have stellar communication skills. Prior personal injury experience is a plus. This is a fully on-site position, approximately 30 hours a week (some flexibility with schedule).Requirements
2+ years of prior legal experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to commute to Huntington Station 4-5 days a week
