Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled carpenter, specializing in residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in carpentry while also being capable of performing auxiliary tasks related to home building and renovation. This role supports our small construction management company, farm operations, and real estate portfolio, requiring a versatile individual who can adapt to a variety of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform high-quality carpentry work, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, and finishing for residential properties.
-Assist with auxiliary tasks such as basic plumbing, electrical work, drywall installation, and painting as needed.
-Operate power tools, small equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently.
-Collaborate with team members on construction projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
-Occasionally support farm-related maintenance or real estate property upkeep as part of our diverse operations.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional carpentry experience in residential construction, with demonstrated skills in auxiliary trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, drywall) as a plus.
Transportation: Must have reliable means of transportation to travel to various job sites.
Tools: Must possess and maintain a personal set of carpentry tools and basic trade tools, ensuring readiness for all tasks.
Attitude: A positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to collaborate with a small, dynamic team.
Physical Ability: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
