Job Description:
Wolcott Builders is hiring for carpenter or junior carpenter positions. This is a full-time, hourly position with competitive pay scale, ranging from $30-$35/hr. Starting benefits include 8 paid holidays and 11.5 paid vacation days your first year. Health insurance is available.
Job Responsibilities:
Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to; framing, exterior trim and siding, roofing, wood flooring, drywall, window and door installation, hardware installation, interior trim installation, cabinet installation and custom mill work. Full time position, 7am-3:30pm Monday thru Friday. Must be able to work on a team with job foreman and other experienced carpenters and tradesman. Applicant should be self-directed and motivated!
Job Qualifications:
-This position is physically demanding with a significant amount of the work in outdoor conditions
-Must be comfortable with heights
-Must own standard tools of the trade
-Transportation and valid license a must. Most jobs are typically located within a 30-45 minute drive of Rhinebeck, NY
-At this time we are looking for a mid-level carpenter with 3-8 years of carpentry experience; knowledge of other skilled trades helpful.
