We www.ProofNoMore.com are a non alcoholic drinks online webshop & distributor since 2021. We need 1099 independent workers that can pick and pack orders accurately/quickly/safely. Starting salary of $17.00 /hr. You will be paid weekly and responsible for filing your own taxes at the end of the year as this is a 1099 basis. Warehouse is in Kingston, NY in the old Sears store in the Hudson Valley Mall.
We are looking for a worker to do 30 orders /hour within a week of getting use to things and then increasing to 40+ orders/hour in about three weeks. We have over 550 SKUs to pick from so need detail oriented individuals who are reliable and trustworthy. Need to be able to work legally in the US and communicate in English. Ability to lift 50lbs, be on your feet most of the day, and moving/lifting cases.
Duties will also include general warehouse duties of receiving in bound pallets and products, de-palletizing cases & in bound shipments from other distributors and organizing products onto the shelves. Then preparing products for out bound shipments onto pallets/shrink-wrap/brace safely for transport and other warehouse duties like cleaning/organizing, labeling/re-labeling of product, doing inventory counts etc
If you know how to use a forklift a plus, but will need to be able to use a manual and electric pallet jack which we can train you. If you have some computer skills also a plus and familiar with using Shopify, Ship Station, shipping portals by FedEx/UPS/USPS.
This position can transition to a manager role for someone with the proper work/communication/personal/computer/customer service skills once one has mastered the core warehouse duties.
Work hours are generally 9:30am to 5:30pm(30min unpaid lunch break), but we can be flexible if you want to work earlier or later, or just for four or so hours several times a week as we get orders 24/7/365. Weekends are not generally required, but if this fits your schedule. We will want someone who can work at least a minimum of 4 hours per shift & at least 3 days a week so we have work for someone that can work 5 days a week or flexible hours/days during the week.
