We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk/Scanner for our Accounting/Multi-Service company. Our Data Entry Clerk/Scanner’s duties include offering support across the organization. You will enter and scan information from the documents which were received from our clients. Data from documents must be entered into software correctly and reviewed for accuracy. Documents scanned must be reviewed for completeness, and accuracy per office system rules. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. Ultimately, a Data Entry Clerk/Scanner’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the information is entered 100% correctly to be able to process personal and business information for client. We must be professional and responsible with the information we process.
Responsibilities
Data entry of documents (ex: Tax, Business, Personal)
Scanning of various documents (Tax forms for Business and Personal, any document used in daily projects)
Provide basic and accurate information
Skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word and Excel
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. scanners and printers)
Professional attitude and appearance
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent organizational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Minimum Requirement - English and Spanish
