Maintenance Technician Full-time Position
Must have extensive Plumbing background and experience
Must be experienced in Carpentry and Electric
HVAC/Appliance repair is a plus
Prior maintenance experience required
Must have reliable transportation
Available to work 40 hours per week and rotating on-call
Must have a current driver's license and clean driving record
BASIC PURPOSE:
Performs duties to maintain the safety, operation and aesthetics of general and mechanical elements of grounds, buildings, amenities and apartments of assigned property in condition that meets established quality standards, working within the limits of standard methods and procedures.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Vacant Unit Make-Ready Execution: Executes the maintenance required to prepare newly vacated units for new move-in to include painting, minor plumbing, electrical, appliance and carpentry repairs.
Work Order Request Fulfillment: Manages the process of completing work order requests in a timely and effective manner including communication status with supervisor and office management.
Overall Property Condition Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and vacant units to identify deficiencies and communicate concerns and issues with supervisor and office staff. Perform snow removal duties and salting of properties on an as needed basis.
Customer Service: Provide customer service and support the company’s commitment to go above and beyond residents’ expectations in a professional, “can do” manner.
