Seeking a live-in aide to help care for my mother.
Looking for someone who is warm, caring, gentle, authentic, has good communication skills and who can fit in not just with our mother but with our whole family. As her daughter, I live nearby and would be visiting most nights for dinner. My brother will be visiting every weekend for a few hours.
The job would entail helping my mom with bathing, dressing, meal prep, medication, daily exercises and incontinence (urinary only). She is ambulatory with a walker, but has balance issues so she needs to be watched while she is walking, standing up and sitting down. No overnight care is needed. Laundry and light housekeeping would also be part of the job.
We are looking for someone with PCA, HHA, CNA or some similar certification. If you have experience but feel you are qualified, please reach out.
Ideally we are looking for someone who can stay 2-4 weeks at a time before taking days off.
