As a Peer Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing support, guidance, and encouragement to individuals facing mental health challenges. Your personal experiences and journey can make a significant difference in the lives of others. Candidate must be able to reliably commute between Orangeburg and Middletown, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide peer support services to individuals navigating mental health issues.
Foster a supportive and empathetic environment for clients.
Utilize your own experiences to inspire hope and promote recovery.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Requirements:
Demonstrated lived experience with mental health challenges and recovery.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Must be a trained and certified Clinic Peer Specialist
