As a team member at our Thai Baan at Tenmile Distillery, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Job Requirement:
- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Thai Baan according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and dishware.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, checking for quality and expiration dates.
- Manage cooking times and portion sizes to maintain consistency and quality in every dish served.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of meals.
- Communicate effectively with servers to coordinate orders and timing for table service.
- Adjust seasoning and flavors to meet the distinct tastes of Thai Baan while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist in menu development by providing input on dish innovation and seasonal offerings.
- Respond to special dietary requests and accommodate guests with allergies when necessary.
- Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen to ensure a safe working environment.

Education, Certifications and /or licenses:
- High School Diploma preferred
Experience:
- Understanding of various ingredients used in Thai cuisine, including herbs, spices, and specialty items.
- Knowledge and expertise in food preparation and cooking techniques, particularly those specific to Thai dishes.
- Ability to follow precise recipes and adjust flavors to enhance meal presentation and taste.
- Strong attention to detail and maturity in executing cooking tasks while maintaining kitchen safety standards.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques relevant to Thai cuisine.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Physical Demand:
- Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
- Standing and walking during entire shift covering large areas
- Working Conditions and Environment:
