A Dietary Aide must be capable of preparing food according to instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards
· Prepare meal trays under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
· Set up tables in dining areas with attention to order and cleanliness
· Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc. and discard leftovers
· Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils and cookware and ensure good sanitary conditions in every step
· Clean food stations, wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware
· Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances
· Stock ingredients; monitor and assist in keeping track of inventory
· Proven experience as a dietary aide and knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines is preferred
