The Red Onion Restaurant & Bar located just outside Woodstock, NY is currently seeking to hire a qualified cook to work the COLD station full-time.
The applicant should be an enthusiastic cook seeking to practice and develop their craft at a first-rate operation.
Please attach a resume. Applicant should have some experience in food service, should possess basic food handling sanitation knowledge and have basic knife skills. Applicant should absolutely have reliable transportation and should be emotionally mature. Our restaurant kitchen enjoys a team-oriented mentality where we help each other succeed.
Daily tasks include, but are not limited to: sauce and vinaigrette production, curing fish, pickling vegetables, washing and prepping lettuces, prepping dessert garnishes, vegetable prep etc. During service, your tasks are assembling cold apps, salads and desserts.
