Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
Please note that as a Lifeguard you must:
1. Be at least 16 years old (under 18 needs a parents signature)
2. Be Certified in CPR (must be renewed yearly)
3. Lifeguard Certificate (must be renewed every 2 years)
Paperwork to be completed, signed and returned to the office with the required documents:
1. Lifeguard Contract
2. W-4 (2022)
3. Employment Eligibility Verification – USCIS Form I-9
4. Banking information (routing number and account number for direct deposit)
Documents that we need a copy of are:
1. Copy of Birth Certificate
2. Picture I.D. – Driver’s License; School I.D.; Passport
3. CPR Certificate
4. Lifeguard Certificate
Daily Responsibilities of Lifeguard
1. Responsible for testing the pool water for chlorine/bromine residuals & pH levels at least 3 times daily and recording the results of forms provided by the Health Department.
2. Assuring that all safety/lifesaving equipment is in place and in good working condition prior to use.
3. Vacuuming the bottom of the pool prior to opening.
4. Checking the skimmers.
5. Making sure guests are following the rules as posted.
6. Filling out time sheet, getting it signed by the resident manager at the end of the week to be submitted to payroll.
7. Absolutely NO cell phone use while on duty.
