Staff Accountant/Tax Professional
FT/PT/Year-Round or seasonal available
Our Firm, located in Chester, seeks to add an experienced Staff Accountant/Tax Professional to our team. As the Staff Accountant, you work with a team of 5 in our small firm which focuses on planning, advice, taxes and accounting work for small businesses. Working from our office is preferred, but remote work may be available for the right candidate.

Tax and Accounting Professional Job Duties:
-Prepare individual tax returns for self-employed and high-net worth individuals.
-Prepare corporate tax returns.
-Perform basic research and draft results memos for manager approval
-Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other documents
-Prepare client records for off-shore accounting team
-Assist with the month end close and quarterly preparation, especially review of work completed by off-shore team
Success as a Tax and Accounting Professional with our Firm includes:
-Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word ; Google Workspace especially Sheets
-Ability to work independently and within a team
-Professional written and oral communication skills
-Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Additional Helpful, but not required, Experience
-Experience with CCH Access tax software; Xero and Quickbooks accounting software; and Gusto payroll
-Research experience using CCH Answer Connect or similar tools
-Experience with international tax work
- College level accounting coursework
-Enrolled Agent certification or CPA
We seek a full or part-time professioanl. This position pays $25-$50 per hour. Working hours are negotiable, but at least partial availability between 9 am and 5 pm EDT weekdays is required.
