Description CONTROLLER WITH BANKING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE Anna Parson at Robert Half is working with a Financial Services client seeking a CONTROLLER with BANKING experience.As the Controller, you will oversee all aspects of Accounting, Finance and Reporting including the month end close, financial statement reporting, compliance reporting to ensure financial statements are accurate, timely and in accordance with GAAP and federal regulations. You will lead all aspects of financial audits and special Accounting/Finance projects. Showcase your team leadership skills as you develop and mentor staff.Seeking a Controller with Banking or related industry experience. CPA/MBA preferred. Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
CPA or MBA preferred
Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Past work in technology, analytics and management experience highly valued
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued
Month end closings experience
Banking Industry experience
Audit Management experience preferred
Financial reporting experience required
General familiarity with Financial Audits
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred
