Payroll Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in the Manufacturing industry. The role is based in HAUPPAUGE, New York and will follow a hybrid schedule. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing payroll for 150-200 employees across multiple states, primarily in New York. This role will also require experience with ADP payroll and MS Office Suite, and some involvement in low-level HR/Recruiting tasks.Responsibilities: Conduct ADP payroll operations for 150-200 employees across multiple states Apply your industry experience from the manufacturing sector to ensure smooth payroll operations Utilize MS Office Suite to manage, track, and report on payroll activities Participate in low-level HR/Recruiting tasks as required Process bi-weekly payroll efficiently and accurately Manage accounting functions related to payroll Use HR Payroll Systems to streamline payroll functions Handle multi-state payroll operations adhering to state-specific rules and regulations Leverage knowledge of Accounting Software Systems to optimize payroll processing Ensure full cycle payroll operations are conducted effectively and efficiently.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with 'About Time' software Understanding of Accounting Functions Knowledge of ADP - Payroll Experience in Full Cycle Payroll Proficiency in HR Payroll System Experience in Multi-state Payroll Understanding of Payroll for a range of 101 - 500 Employees Knowledge of Payroll - Multi-State Ability to handle Payroll Functions Experience in processing Bi-weekly Payroll Familiarity with Multistate Payroll Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
