Description Our Long Island client within the government sector is currently seeking an Executive Assistant to support their C Suite team. Excellent opportunity to grow within a detail oriented organization! Responsibilities: Conduct research tasks as required, ensuring accurate and timely results Handle information requests from both internal and external stakeholders Perform clerical duties such as preparing correspondence and receiving visitors Arrange conference calls and schedule meetings effectively Act as the supervisor’s personal representative in routine contacts with other executives and the public Screen incoming correspondence, referring to appropriate staff and following up to assure timely response Perform special assignments and studies as directed by the supervisor Oversee office administration tasks to ensure smooth operations Maintain business communication standards, including proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling Ensure timely and effective customer service and communication. Requirements Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to handle inquiries and complaints efficiently. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on clarity and conciseness. Experience in training and developing others, with a focus on skill enhancement. Ability to conduct comprehensive research using various tools and resources. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, including email, calendar, and task management features. Familiarity with clerical duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc. Experience in handling financial notes, with an understanding of basic financial principles. Knowledge of conductivity, with the ability to optimize office workflow. Experience in assisting C-Suite executives, understanding their unique needs and work styles. Expertise in office administration, including managing office supplies and equipment. Proficiency in scheduling meetings, coordinating agendas, and ensuring smooth communication between all participants. Ability to liaise with appropriate personnel to resolve issues or implement new procedures. Experience in arranging transportation services for executives and visitors. Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet deadlines or to manage special projects. Excellent spelling skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to prepare correspondence, including letters, memos, and emails, in a detail oriented manner. Solid understanding of punctuation rules and the ability to apply them correctly in written communication. Experience in generating statistical reports, with a focus on data accuracy and presentation. Ability to handle special assignments, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance. Excellent command of proper grammar, ensuring clear and effective written communication. Experience in arranging conference calls, including coordinating schedules and setting up necessary technology. Knowledge of QA management, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
