Full time Management Position for the TLC Trauma Team at WJCS, operating county-wide.

Compensation: $80k/year

The Assistant Director is responsible for overseeing the various services and functions of the TLC Program, in partnership with or in the absence of the Program Director. The Assistant Director is also responsible for managing program hiring, onboarding and allocations. Management of support staff, projects and collaboration with other departments as needed, including developing and monitoring grants, systems and work flows. A macro and systems thinker with excellent organizational and writing skills is essential.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Overseeing the various services and functions of the TLC program, in partnership with or in the absence of the Program Director.

Managing program hiring, onboarding and budget allocations.

Managing of support staff, projects and collaboration with other departments as needed, including developing and monitoring grants, systems and work flows.

Plans and organizes work for staff and insures compliance with agency and regulatory mandates.

Conduct training and/or supervision as needed, depending on expertise.

Represent the agency in county and state meetings.

Insure that funding (grants) goals, objectives and requirements are met.

Manages hiring, onboarding and off boarding in coordination with Human Resources, IT, and other internal departments as needed.

If you have the following:

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work, or Masters in Mental Health Counseling.

Possession of or eligible for license to practice social work in New York State (LMSW or LCSW, or LMHC) issued by the New York State Education Department.

At least 3-5 years Social Work/Counseling, supervisory or related experience preferred.

And Attributes:

Strong knowledge of systems and work flows including grant funded projects and clinical programming.

Excellent interpersonal management skills with a trauma lens and transparency.

A macro and systems thinker with excellent organizational and writing skills is essential.
