Electronics AssemblerOverview:Our client, a prominent contract manufacturer specializing in electronic, electrical, and electromechanical assemblies, is seeking skilled Electronics Assemblers to join their team.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct high-reliability soldering and crimping operations on electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies.
Assemble various boards, standoffs, jumper wires, wire harnesses, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
Solder/crimp wires and jumpers to multiple pin connectors/assemblies.
Work from wiring schematics, parts lists, drawings, assembly worksheets, and other instructional media.
Mix and apply various potting compounds to assemblies/connectors.
Utilize electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools, fixtures, and cleaning procedures, including microscopes, mirrors, picks, and other high-resolution equipment.
Test, monitor, and operate soldering irons, crimpers, wristbands, volt/ohmmeters, and hi-pot equipment.
Understand and adhere to high-reliability soldering specifications, maintain relevant certifications, and ensure assemblies comply with IPC J-STD requirements.
Follow applicable ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures.
Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Qualifications:
Experience in tube bending (Preferred, 3 years)
Knowledge of high-reliability soldering specifications and ESD procedures.
Capability to work with intricate assemblies and utilize precision tools and equipment.
Compensation:
Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
