(minimum of 9 certifications total).Note: higher category certifications may be used in place of lower category certifications.Failure to hold certification on the specified equipment will result in removal of the candidate from the position. Duties Description HMW 2 duties include but are not limited to: Operate one or more of the categories as described above. Must be prepared to act as a “crew leader” and be capable of providing instruction to operators and crew members. Provide on the job training to other maintenance workers in the operation of highway construction and maintenance equipment. Must respond to emergency call-outs within an hour during inclement weather, including snow and ice conditions to be considered for the position. This amount is comprised of the base salary of $43,768 - $53,708 with an additional geographic pay differential of $9,000, specific to this title and location.
