Come grow with us!This is a Union PositionStarting Pay $26.56 per hour increasing to $33.20 per hour after 6 months.Job Requirements:Maintain, dismantle, and install machinery and mechanical service equipment and building repairs.Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and plant structures.
Install and change the layout of machines and mechanical equipment within the facility.
Set up machine foundations through the use of concrete and cement.
Erects, dismantles, repairs, and refinishes structures.
Set up and operate woodworking tools.
Perform preventive maintenance procedures as outlined by the preventive maintenance program.
Maintain a proactive approach and mindset to preventive maintenance.
Assist plumbers and electricians as needed or when scheduled.
Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules.
Must be able to work extended hours when required.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Three to five years’ experience in the manufacturing or construction field
Three to five years working experience as a Millwright.
Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or in-house three-year training program
Must possess good mathematical skills.
Knowledge of blueprints and how to interpret them.
Knowledge of local building codes
Two-year degree in the construction or technical field or its equivalent
Knowledge of and experience with preventive maintenance programs
Knowledge of Six Sigma
Knowledge of ISO:9001
