In this role, you'll test our products to ensure development and health of projects. You will:- Set-up and operate test equipment, vehicles, prototypes, fixtures, or products. These tests can be standard or non-routine.
- Perform tests by defined procedures.
- Assemble, repair, and fabricate equipment, parts, and products.
- Test products and equipment from verbal and written instructions.
- Resolve routine and non-routine questions and problems.
- Record, organize, and present test data utilizing spreadsheets, graphs, and written reports.
- Analyze and interpret data. Make recommendations based on the findings.
- Gather engineering and manufacturing data from internal and external sources.
- Communicate test results to other technicians, designers, engineers, managers, and manufacturing employees.
- Provide guidance to other technicians in areas of specialized expertise.
- Utilize 2S/5S and be a leader in its practice.
- Knowledge of math, engineering drawing, principles of electronics, and hydraulics.
- Understanding of engineering or manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with common gauges, indicators, and meters.
- Strong communication and analytical skills in order to interpret and present data, as well as make recommendations.
- Basic computer and Microsoft (Excel and Word) skills.
- 3+ years of experience in an assembly/test/evaluation or engineering environment.
- Technical degree.
