Review patient insurance for benefit coverage
Contact insurance company to obtain authorization or pre-determination as applicable
Enter authorization data into Soarian and annotate the medication order
Schedule patient for infusion (or injectable) services
Coordinate & liaison with Infusion Center team and providers
Coordinate drug delivery if through patient pharmacy benefits
Assist with Patient Drug Assistance programs, as applicable
Run insurance eligibility prior to infusion/injectable appointments
Ensure referrals are in place, as applicable
Enter information on Infusion spreadsheets
Create Authorization tickets
Provide coverage for alternate infusion center sites as needed
