Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced line cook to join our team. As a line cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes in accordance with our Chef's. Your commitment to kitchen efficiency and personal growth will be essential as we strive to exceed guest expectations and maintain the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. There is a lot to learn here as we are all very passionate about the food we serve.
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients and cook meals to order, ensuring each dish meets our standard of excellence.
Operate a variety of kitchen equipment safely and proficiently.
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by following sanitation and safety standards.
Work closely with other team members to manage food supplies and minimize waste.
Assist in the development of new dishes and menu planning
Engage in continuous learning and improvement through feedback and culinary training sessions
Requirements:
Proven experience as a line cook in a busy kitchen environment.
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Ability to read tickets, prioritize work and work with others
A positive mental attitude
