Assists Clinical Flow RN with arranging ambulance transports for patient. Responsible for all necrology functions while demonstrating sensitivity to family needs. Supports the human resource function for patient services employees. How You Will Fulfill Your Potential Responsibilities Provides for adequate staffing through assessment and identification of need utilizing patient census and acuity data from Cerner by calling staff in or off, redistributing assigned staff, shift rotation under the guidance of the Nursing Resource Coordinator/Nursing Supervisor/or Patient Services Director/ACNO Maintain accurate and current schedules in Clairvia with reflection of action taken (unit staff floated to, call-off time, use of employee ETO or UETO) Receives and records calls for employee absence and communicates this information to appropriate departments Calculates division vacancies and preschedules employees in float pool to provide coverage Assists Directors in arranging for employee absence and coverage and optimal staffing for units Utilizes computer system efficiently and according to established standard for position Assists in creation of new patient encounters as needed under the discretion of the Clinical Flow RN Education/Accredited Programs High School Graduate Prefer 3 years’ experience in healthcare field, scheduling responsibilities, or customer service role Licenses, Certifications, Registrations Not applicable Skills and Abilities Medical terminology Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Excellent customer services skills Strong problem solving skills Strong independent decision making ability Above average organizational skills with great attention to detail Computer Literacy Communities We Serve Located in the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack mountains, Glens Falls is conveniently located a short drive away from the capital region and Lake George. Salary Range The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $18.18 to $27.27 per hour.
