Assistant Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health Services - Inpatient Unit

The assistant Nurse Manager, in collaboration with the Nurse Manager, plans, organizes, directs and actively participates in the nursing care of patients, works with the multi-disciplinary team to manage the day-to-day operations of the service. This includes problem solving, coordination of assignments and patient placement, staffing, CI activities, facilitation of staff competency, validation and performance monitoring. The Assistant Nurse Manager acts as a role model and a mentor to staff. Education/Experience: RN BSN required 3 years relevant clinical experience required. Previous leadership experience preferred Licenses/Certificates/Registrations Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State BLS certification Certification in specialty area preferred Salary Range The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $36.14 to $56.41 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
