Quality AnalystGarden City, NY, USA Req #12076 Tuesday, September 3, 2024Centers Plan for Healthy Living's goal is to create the ultimate healthcare experience that provides our members, their families, healthcare decision makers, and general caregivers with the guidance and plans they need for healthy living.JOB SUMMARY:The Quality Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the overall direction, coordination and implementation of the QM program for CPHL, including, but not limited to UAS Reporting and coordination, as well as Clinical Management Operational reporting support and analysis; aimed at improving Quality of Care and Quality of Service.This will include the collection, management and analysis of quality data, and preparation of quality reports. The Quality Management Analyst will provide staff support to the Quality Management Committee and Clinical/Medical Leadership in matters of Quality Improvement and Management.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide support relative to improving overall quality of care/service through the development, collection, analysis and management of Quality Improvement, UAS, and Clinical Management Operational reports and studiesProvide ongoing support relative to data extraction, data collection and validationUtilizes data collection and analysis to develop and prepare quality reportsServe as a liaison for internal and external Stakeholders for issues related to Quality ImprovementAttends the Quality Management Committee, Subcommittee and other meetings as directed to provide support, education and/or guidance on Quality Improvement initiatives and standards, performs requested follow up activitiesProvides support to CPHL Clinical and Operational leadership on Quality Improvement initiatives and standardsProvides assistance with Ongoing Quality Improvement initiatives including, but not limited to compliance monitoring and feedbackAssists in identifying opportunities and avenues to best monitor and track Quality Improvement initiativesUtilizes project management skills to assist Quality Management Department in ensuring completion of projects and deliverablesParticipate in ongoing development of clinical data repository and dashboard reportingUtilizes knowledge of CPHL’s Clinical Software systems functionality and data capture and storage to enhance collection, analysis, and reporting of Quality Management dataAbility to understand regulatory Quality reporting requirements and assist in design, development and production of necessary reportsOther duties and responsibilities as assignedEducation and Experience:EducationPreferred:Four year degree in health care or relatable business field degreeType of ExperiencePreferred:A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the health care industry with demonstrated knowledge of data collection, extraction, organization, compilation and management, as well as reports development, utilizing clinical Care/Utilization Management and related software.Specific Technical SkillsProficient use of MS Office, MS Office Excel, Report writing softwareKnowledge of Clinical Software applications specific to CPHLKnowledge and Skills:Excellent communication, organization and writing skillsAbility to effectively prioritize workAbility to work effectively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholdersKnowledge of and skills in data collection, analysis and presentationExcellent oral presentation skillsMust demonstrate integrity, sound judgment and strong interpersonal skills.
