Occupational Therapist for school age children

Fee for Service, Flexible scheduling available!

Compensation: Full-Time Compensation: $63,000-$70,000

Fee for Service Compensation: $60/hour– full case load potential of approximately $100,000/year

Please note this is an average. Rates are determined by service provided, professional experience, and license/certifications held.

Monday-Friday, following school calendar

Responsibilities:

Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.

Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.

Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.

Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals

Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.

Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.

Collects data on each IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.

Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.

And this background:

Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy

Current New York State Occupational Therapy License (OTR L)

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant's welcome to apply (COTA)

Bilingual is a plus
