We are looking for a highly skilled Tradesman/Carpenter to join our passionate and driven team in Victor, NY. This role requires proven, quality-oriented general construction experience, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans and other specifications is required.

Required Experience:
5+ years residential construction experience.
General knowledge of building sites, jobsite organization, and schedules.
Strong working knowledge of building materials and best installation practices.
Strong working knowledge and ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction.
Proficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools.
Excellent math and problem-solving skills.
Excellent time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Valid NYS Driver’s License with clean driving record.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in high-performance home building, passive house construction and high-efficiency enclosure
systems with a general understanding of high-performance building envelopes and construction methods.
Responsibilities:
Collaboration with PM and building team to construct, install, and repair structures including, but not limited to,
building frameworks, partitions, door & window frames, wooden stairways, rafters, and flooring.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications and scope of work.
Measure, cut, and shape wood or other materials accurately, using hand and power tools.
Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring their proper functionality and organization.
Daily communication with site supervisors and project managers.
Assist site supervisor with ensuring the construction site is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
