This position works collaboratively with the quality control inspector and drafting/quality manager to handle any engineering and quality control needs of the organization. This includes creating engineering drawings, reverse engineering of sample parts, quality inspection of incoming material, light mechanical assembly and other projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Create 3d models and 2d production ready drawings in Solidworks CAD;
Clear and concise communication;
Reverse engineer sample parts;
Operate equipment such as Laser Scanner, CMM , Hardness Tester, training provided;
Perform quality control inspection of incoming material;
Perform analysis of quality concerns and generate reports
