Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the construction industry, located in Farmingdale, New York. The candidate will be assisting Office Manager with Payroll, AP, AR, Billing and supporting Project Managers in the office. Responsibilities:Certified Payroll Reports Assist with account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance Manage accounts payable and ensure prompt and accurate payment of invoices Handle accounts receivable, including invoice processing and tracking payments Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze dataRequirements Minimum of three years of experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar position within construction industry Proficiency in account reconciliation and managing both accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Experience in billing and invoice processing is essential Demonstrable skills in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and data analysis A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field would be advantageous Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with different departments Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines Knowledge of standard accounting principles and regulations.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
