TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 Month Position, Part Time (11:00 am -2:45 pm)STARTING DATE: September 2025SALARY RANGE: $21.73 - $34.01 per hourActual salary is dependent upon education, experience, and contract. We have an opening for a part-time Associate Teacher. Do you have an artistic background with experience in visual arts? We are looking for a motivated and energetic person to serve as the Associate Teacher for our Visual Communications and Photography Program.Check out the duties and qualifications below: DUTIES:
Assist teacher in providing instruction to high school students preparing for careers or further education in visual communication & photography.
Assist teacher in maintaining student records, such as discipline, attendance, and grades.
Attend staff meetings and professional development activities.
Other duties as determined by the classroom teacher or building administrator.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years’ experience in the visual communication & photography industry.
Must have valid NYS Teaching Assistant certification or willingness to complete.
Current knowledge of apple computers and software is preferred.
Excellent application of graphic software skills, Adobe knowledge preferred.
Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation.)
