Description Chris Preble is working with an Endicott, NY for profit client of his that is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. This is a newly created role because of growth and it's a company that has great benefits and awesome work life balance. You'll also be involved in cost accounting which always looks great on a resume. This role is critical in driving strategic business decisions through complex financial analysis and cost accounting.Responsibilities include: Conduct detailed financial analysis to offer support for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Prepare and deliver financial reports, variance analyses, and cost-benefit analyses to senior management. Develop and maintain financial models to project future financial performance and evaluate the financial impact of business decisions. Help oversee the cost accounting function, including the allocation of costs, tracking of project expenses, and management of inventory valuations. Develop and implement cost accounting systems and procedures to ensure accurate and timely cost data. Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs. Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to prepare and consolidate departmental budgets. Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards. Develop and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
