Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our nursing facility team. The RN Unit Manager will be responsible for overseeing a specific unit within the facility, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing the nursing staff. This leadership role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. Manage and supervise nursing staff on the assigned unit, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Coordinate and oversee patient care activities to ensure adherence to established standards of practice and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, monitor care delivery, and address any issues or concerns.

Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and residents' families.

Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, including assistance with complex patient cases and medication management.

Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to nursing staff.

Collaborate with other department heads and administrators to optimize resident care and facility operations.

Maintain accurate documentation and records related to resident care, staffing, and incidents.

Requirements:

Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the state licensing board.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.

Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and staff members.

Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing nursing facilities.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred.

CPR certification required.

Salary:

This is an hourly position that pays $40 per hour with a $1.50/hr shift differential and includes overtime!
