General Manufacturing Laborer/Machine Operator is need by busy manufacturing company in Elmira, NY. IMMEDIATE NEED Opportunity for a foot in the door with one of the areas premier employers!
WILL TRAIN if you are eager to work would prefer someone with mechanical experience.
Must be able to read blueprints, use various hand tools, follow directions, lifting up to 50 lbs, using hand grinder, cleaning parts, running machines, prepping for paint, will be working with steel.
1st Shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm 40 hours a week (with OVERTIME and some weekends)
Could be 2nd shift later on 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
16.00 per hour to start
Contract to possible direct hire if good fit (depending on work ethics, attendance, etc)
